Born in Sri Lanka and now proudly calling Canada home, Chef Shenazad Ousmand brings over 20 years of culinary and hospitality leadership experience spanning fine dining restaurants, luxury hospitality, high-end catering, corporate dining programs, and large-scale event operations throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
His professional background includes leadership roles with renowned culinary brands, respected hospitality organizations, and prestigious event venues. Known for his passion for exceptional food and customer service, Chef Shen has built a reputation for creating memorable dining experiences while developing practical solutions that consistently exceed client expectations.
Today, he leads Cleese Catering with a commitment to restaurant-quality cuisine, outstanding hospitality, and flawless execution. His philosophy is simple: exceptional food, personalized service, and a dedication to making every event seamless, memorable, and stress-free.
Also known as Kat, Katrina brings over a decade of customer service experience and a passion for hospitality. She has worked alongside Chef Shen for several years to help ensure every client feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from inquiry to final confirmation.
Chef Monil brings over a decade of culinary experience across luxury hotels, premium food service, and large-scale catering operations. After completing his Hotel Management studies in Mumbai, India, he began his career with the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel Mumbai, where he advanced from Commis Chef to Demi Chef de Partie.
In 2018, he moved to Canada and joined the renowned McEwan Group, spending four years refining his expertise in menu execution, food production, catering, and guest-focused culinary experiences.
Since joining Cleese Catering in 2022, Chef Monil has served as Chef de Cuisine, leading kitchen operations, maintaining exceptional food quality standards, and mentoring culinary teams. His passion for excellence, creativity, and attention to detail help deliver the memorable dining experiences that define Cleese Catering.
